How to play
- Everyone starts a tale by picking 1 of 3 openings. You secretly get two words: your BLUE word you must write yourself in any tale without being obvious, and your GOLD word you must get someone else to write.
- There are 8 turns of 20 seconds. Tales travel from phone to phone and you only see the last 6 words, like a folded sheet of paper. Add 1 to 3 words (25 letters max). To steer people into your gold word, leave easy-to-finish phrases: "Grandma chased me with a…".
- Then everyone reads 2 or 3 finished tales and reacts with 😂 😱 ❤️. The top 3 get performed at the show with a synthetic voice, and each author’s bean jumps when their piece is read.
- Word hunt: you get 2 suspects, see everything they wrote and tap the word you think was their blue one. A hit is +2. Blue word snuck in without getting caught: +3. Gold word written by someone else: +4. Most loved tale: +2 to all its authors.
- There are 2 editions. At the end there are funny awards (+2 each), the tale of the night and a card to share. With the Party Pass: Soap opera, Horror, Newscast and Soccer genres, your own words, 16 players and HD tales.
Tall Tales is a party game for 3 to 16 friends on their phones: write stories three words at a time without seeing the beginning, sneak in your secret word and trick everyone else into writing theirs. Read-aloud shows, reactions, a word hunt and a shareable card with the tale of the night. Original content, no downloads, no sign-up.
